A full day dedicated to hacking, building, collaborating, and learning—tap into mentor support and join hands-on workshops.
🔹 Sunday, September 21
The final push! Wrap up your project and submit by 4:00 PM (sharp) to be eligible for judging.
🔹 Wednesday, September 24
🎉 Time to celebrate! Winners will be announced IEEE annual Convention in Anheim and recognized for their innovation and impact.
Eligibility
👥 Who Can Participate?Anyone above the legal age in their country is welcome to join—whether you're a seasoned coder, a curious creator, or just passionate about AI and innovation!

💡 Go solo or squad up! You can participate as an individual or in a team of up to 4 members.

⏱️ Code with the clock! All development must happen during the official hackathon window: September 5–7.

Project and Submission Requirements

Track Alignment: Clearly present the track you've chosen and explain how your project addresses the theme or challenge within that track.

Demo Video (3–5 mins): Showcase your project in action with a brief, focused demo video highlighting key features and functionality.

Code Repository: Include a link to your GitHub repo (or equivalent) that contains the source code and any relevant documentation.

Deadline: Make sure to submit your project before the official deadline to be considered for judging. Dont submit before official start time which 8 AM PT on September 5.
Prizes
🏅 Prizes💰 1st Place – $1,000
Awarded to the top overall project that stands out for its innovation, execution, and impact.
🥈 2nd Place – $500
Goes to the runner-up team whose project delivers strong functionality and creative problem-solving.
🥉 3rd Place – $250
Recognizes the third-best submission for its originality and solid technical delivery.
🤖 Best Use of AI API
Special recognition for the project that showcases the most impressive and creative use of a generative AI API—make it smart, make it shine!
To receive prize money, winners must complete a W-9 form to verify U.S. residency.
Please note that prizes can only be awarded to U.S. residents.
Participants from outside the U.S. are still very welcome to join and compete!
Judging Criteria and Winner Selection
Your project will be evaluated across the following dimensions:
✨ Creativity
Is the idea fresh, innovative, and exciting? Does it take a unique approach to solving a problem within the chosen track?
🛠️ Technical Execution
Does the project function as intended? Is the technology behind it solid, well-implemented, and appropriately ambitious for the track's focus?
📈 Usefulness
How well does your project address a real-world challenge? Is the solution practical, impactful, and meaningful within the context of the track you selected (e.g., healthcare, productivity, social impact)?
🎥 Presentation
Is the demo clear, engaging, and easy to follow? Does it effectively communicate what the project does, who it's for, and how it works—especially in relation to the track's goals?
